YOUR STARTING POINT
Plan your marathon
A plan that meets you where you are.
Stride estimates pace from the distance you cover during both the run and walk parts. It then builds mileage gradually from your current week.
03 — YOUR ROADMAP
Your training outline.

The method, made clear.
Stride is Galloway-inspired: planned walk breaks, easy effort and steady progression. This is an independent training heuristic, not an official Jeff Galloway plan or a guarantee of an optimal or safe result. Build weeks rise by at most 8% to a 64 km weekly ceiling, recovery comes every fourth week, long runs stop near 32 km, and a taper precedes race day. Existing training above the ceiling stays at its entered level. Galloway's marathon-to-finish guidance prioritizes a comfortable pace over a first-marathon time target. Listen to pain, fatigue and qualified medical advice.
